The best way to reconstruct the events is to put together a timeline. Fortunately, your cell phone can be the backbone in putting together a strong recount of events. A time line also helps organize your thoughts, give you a better pictures of the events that were occurring, and most importantly, identifying any discrepancies being reported. With strong supporting evidence such as a phone records or text messages, calling out someone in a lie can be successfully done and proven. Especially when they say that they were honest and upfront about all cost; yet the records show multiple calls afterwards to verify payment information and a written statement from a vet professional I spoke with that day.
The first thing I did was look at my phone records to reference the times in which the events occurred. As Dr. Sutton pointed out, I was not present at no time at the clinic, that means all interactions were over the phone. I had a very detailed record of the times and calls to and from on that day.
These are highlights of my phone trail. It gives an accurate account of that day

Interestingly, Dr. O'Hair's response to the Texas Board is:
Mr. Hawke stated in his complaint that our entire conversation occurred at 3:22 pm. Although I failed to note all of our conversations and the times they occurred, our Computer records show that Mr. Hawke had surrendered Hunter and paid for services rendered up to that point (his exam and radio-graph costs) at 1:37 pm that day."
IT IS HERE THAT DR. O'HAIR HAS UNKNOWINGLY GIVEN THE FINAL PIECE OF INFORMATION NEEDED TO DISCREDIT DR. SUTTON'S VERSION OF EVENTS.
First, if the surrender occurred at 1:37 PM with payment in full , why is there a call to them at 3:22 PM in which I state the actual surrender and payment occurred? How does a computer record exist with payment info 2 hours before it occurred? The date stamp on my credit card for that charge was 15:30:06. I would like to see that "computer record" very much.
Getting to the big pictures. Dr. O'Hair has given me a time line of her own with the following statements she made to the board.
*The only documented time in the medical chart is 6:30 PM; for post surgical recovery*
NOON
1:37 PM
6:30 PM
11 PM (5 hours after the end of surgery) which puts the surgery end time at 6 PM (Thank you Joni for clue)
Speaking with Hunter's primary vet, a surgery like this would take between 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Placing the surgery start time between 4-5 PM.
They used urgency and the threat of euthanasia to surrender Hunter to them, because he needed surgery immediately. Why is it that he waited over 3 hours to have it done. The records show that they did nothing for him. He received nothing in that time frame except a new owner. See my previous blogs that show how Amy cared for him.
Hunter is not alive because of Hometown Animal Care. He is alive in spite of them.

- "Per the notes, recovery following surgery was very lengthy, and he did not become responsive until pm, over 5 hours after his surgery was finished."
